Black and White self portrait

I took this picture with my mobile phone camera.
At first i didnt like the original. However, i decided to take it into PaintShopPro and play around with different effects etc.
To create the final image, I gave it a Greyscale effect and then a Brightness and Contrast effect to give the very striking difference between black and white.
I did the same with some other photographs i had and was pleased with the results.
I wish it could have been in higher quality but the camera i used has quite a low resolution. I might try using higher resolution pictures to get a better result.
